Registration is now open for media accreditation to the 2026 Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, taking place 21 to 25 October, giving you full access to the Festival programme and everything you need to plan your editorial coverage.
Journalists and media professionals who can guarantee coverage of the Festival can now register through the media accreditation form, providing their credentials, including their profile and company or organization details, along with a coverage plan.
Once accredited, you will gain exclusive access to:
- A Festival Media Pass with unlimited entry to all main Festival programmes over the four days, including author conversations, panel discussions, film screenings, and live performances.
- An invitation to the Press Conferences held in Denpasar and Ubud.
- An invitation to the Media Reception on Tuesday, 20 October, and the Festival's Gala Opening in Ubud on Wednesday, 21 October.
- An opportunity to interview speakers and Festival representatives.
- Access to the Media Centre for coverage support throughout the Festival.
Please note: Once your accreditation is approved, you will be assigned a Media Accreditation lanyard, available for pick-up during the week of the Festival at the ticket box, or from 22 to 25 October at the Media Centre once the Festival begins. The pass covers Festival main programmes, press conferences, and all press materials, but does not include entry to specially ticketed events such as masterclasses and cultural workshops.
