Andreea Răsuceanu is a Romanian novelist and author of three novels, all nominated for and awarded some of the most important Romanian prizes for fiction. An Unknown Form of Life 2018 won two literary awards and was selected at the Festival of the First Novel in Chambéry, France, and published in French, Nouvel Attila-Seuil, 2024, and Bulgarian, 2024. The Wind, the Spirit, the Breath 2020 won four literary awards, including the Romanian Writers’ Union Prize for Fiction 2021 and the Romanian Academy Award for Fiction 2022. The novel was shortlisted for the European Union Prize for Fiction 2022 and was published in Spain and Bulgaria. The Kármán Line 2023 explores immigration across time and the relationship with the Other.
