Cokorda Sawitri, affectionately known as Cok Sawitri, was an Balinese artist who channelled her activism through both writing and performance. This session celebrates her life and legacy, as friends, colleagues, relatives, and loved ones honour her memory while keeping alive her voice, works, and spirit of activism. The programme begins with a short film about Cok Sawitri, followed by readings of her works and the launch of a collective book COK 1 September 1968 – 4 April 2024.
Ita Siregar is an Indonesian writer and festival enthusiast, exploring short stories, novels, and poetry. Her poetry collection Ia Dinamai Perempuan was published in 2022, followed by Naftali in 2025, a novel set around a festival. She is also the founder of several festivals, including the Christian Literary & Arts Festival, Balige Literacy Festival, and Balige Writers Festival.
Kadek Sonia Piscayanti is the Founder and Director of the Singaraja Literary Festival and a literature lecturer at the English Education Study Program at Ganesha University of Education, Singaraja. She also founded the Mahima Community and Mahima Institute Indonesia, an educational and cultural arts institution in North Bali. Her body of work spans short stories, prose, poetry, plays, and essays, which have been featured in both national and international media.

She has been an activist for more than two decades and has created over ten documentaries and published more than twenty books. She currently manages the Jagat Setara and WokeAsiaFeminist Instagram channels and organizes feminism classes in various communities.
