Patrick Winn is an American journalist and non-fiction writer who has lived in Bangkok for almost two decades. His latest book is Narcotopia: In Search of the Asian Drug Cartel that Survived the CIA. Previously, he wrote Hello, Shadowlands: Inside the Meth Fiefdoms, Rebel Hideouts and Bomb-Scarred Party Towns of Southeast Asia. Winn's work primarily focuses on Southeast Asia, with an emphasis on rebellion and the narcotics trade in Myanmar.
