Bumi Kinar Ubud

Modern societal shifts in land use from agricultural industries to secondary industries have led to substantial land degradation, reduced water retention, and habitat loss through deforestation, urbanisation, and industrial expansion. This has further impacts, including increases in flooding, mudslides, and erosion, not only in Bali but globally. Indigenous practices have taught us the art of sustainable resource management and a wisdom to understand our land's capacity, which national and international governments have historically discarded. As this issue is only set to further proliferate, what role do ecotourism, regenerative agriculture, and Indigenous wisdom play in holding our Earth together? Join moderator Titah AW and expert speakers Rossy You, Suzy Hutomo, and Margareth Meutia as we navigate this multifaceted issue through a nuanced conversation.
