Rumah Kayu

This session looks at how the global fight for gender equality, despite progress, faces new challenges in the social media era. From trends around the the conventional housewife to the Red Pill phenomenon, patriarchy is reasserting itself in what has been called the Patriarchal Extinction Burst. Magdalene, an Indonesian bilingual online magazine that informs, advocates, and works towards a more equal society through solution-driven journalism, invites audiences to join the panel exploring how these forces shape contemporary conversations about gender, power, and resistance.
