Rara Sekar is an independent musician, researcher, and educational activist with a Masters in Cultural Anthropology from Victoria University of Wellington. As a musician, Rara has been involved in the duo Banda Neira (2012-2016), the trio Daramuda (2017-2020), and her solo project called Hara (2020-present) which combines her academic background with an interdisciplinary artistic approach.
Hara atau Rara Sekar adalah seorang musisi independen, peneliti dan pegiat pendidikan dengan Master di bidang Antropologi Budaya dari Universitas Victoria dari Wellington. Sebagai musisi, Rara pernah tergabung dalam duo Banda Neira (2012-2016), proyek musik trio Daramuda (2017-2020), dan proyek solonya bernama Hara (2020-sekarang) yang menggabungkan latar belakang akademisnya dengan pendekatan artistik secara interdisipliner.
