Ramayda Akmal’s novel, Jatisaba, won the 2010 Jakarta Arts Council Novel Writing Competition. Her short story collection, Lengkingan Viola Desingan Peluru (Humming Violins and Whistling Bullets), was selected Best Literary Work of 2013 by the Language Center of Yogyakarta. She was named as an Indonesian Emerging Writer at the 2013 Ubud Writer and Reader Festival.

Novel Ramayda Akmal, Jatisaba, memenangkan Lomba Karya Tulis Novel Dewan Kesenian Jakarta 2010. Kumpulan cerpennya, Lengkingan Viola Desingan Peluru (Humming Violins and Whistling Bullets), terpilih sebagai Karya Sastra Terbaik 2013 oleh Pusat Bahasa Yogyakarta. Ia dinobatkan sebagai Indonesian Emerging Writer di Ubud Writer and Reader Festival 2013.
