Nia Dinata is an Indonesian director. Her career started by making music videos and advertisements. In 2000, Nia founded an independent film company called Kalyana Shira Film. She directed the film Arisan! (2004), which successfully won many awards, one of which was the Best Cinema Film at the Indonesian Film Festival.
