Michael Pedersen, a prize-winning Scottish poet and author, is the Writer in Residence at The University of Edinburgh. He has acclaimed poetry collections with Polygon Books, and his third collection The Cat Prince & Other Poems is shortlisted for the Forward Prizes. His prose debut Boy Friends was a Sunday Times Critics Choice. He won the Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship, the John Mather’s Trust Rising Star of Literature Award, and was a finalist for the 2018 ‘Writer of the Year’ at The Herald Scottish Culture Awards. Michael’s work is anthologized by Pan MacMillan and Canongate Books. His poetry and writing have appeared in The Poetry Review, New Statesman, The Rialto, Ambit, Gutter, The Scotsman, and more.
