Maya Lestari GF was a recipient of the Family Education Appreciation Award from the Indonesia Ministry of Education in 2019 and the Minangkabau Literacy Award by the governor of West Sumatra. Maya has written more than 30 children’s picture books and novels. One was nominated for best children’s storybook at the Indonesia Islamic Book Fair.
