Jose Ramos-Horta

Jose Ramos-Horta is the fourth President of East Timor and third Prime Minister of East Timor. He was a co-recipient of the 1996 Nobel Peace Prize, along with Carlos Filipe Ximenes Belo. After his presidency, he was appointed as the United Nations’ Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Integrated Peacebuilding Office in Guinea-Bissau.

Jose Ramos-Horta adalah Presiden keempat Timor Leste dan Perdana Menteri ketiga Timor Leste. Ia adalah salah satu penerima Nobel Peace Prize 1996, bersama dengan Carlos Filipe Ximenes Belo. Setelah masa kepresidenannya, ia diangkat sebagai Perwakilan Khusus Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa dan Kepala Kantor Pembangunan Perdamaian Terpadu Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa di Guinea-Bissau.
