Hilmar Farid

Hilmar Farid is presently the Director General of Culture at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. He also serves as the President Commissioner of the state-owned publishing company Balai Pustaka from 2020 onwards. Furthermore, he holds a lecturer position at the Postgraduate Program at Jakarta Arts Institute since 2015. He completed his PhD at the National University of Singapore.

Hilmar Farid pada saat ini menjabat Direktur Jenderal Kebudayaan di Kementerian Pendidikan, Budaya, Riset, dan Teknologi Republik Indonesia. Ia juga menjabat sebagai Presiden Komisaris perusahaan penerbitan milik negara Balai Pustaka sejak 2020 dan setelahnya. Lebih jauh lagi, ia juga berperan sebagai dosen di Program Pascasarjana Institut Kesenian Jakarta sejak 2015. Ia menamatkan pendidikan PhD di Universitas Nasional Singapura.
