Eva Fernandes is a writer, poet, and artist. She trained and worked as a journalist in the Middle East where she published for Yahoo, The New York Times T Magazine, Kippreport and Gulf News among other publications. Currently, her work explores transnational identity, belonging, feminism and social justice. Eva is the founder of XBEVA – a pro-justice storytelling company that helps BIPOC changemakers develop memoir-style art and writing. She’s been living nomadically for the last five years which inspired her current project: a series of essays on Decolonizing Travel.
