Eva Fernandes

Eva Fernandes is a writer, poet, and artist. She trained and worked as a journalist in the Middle East, contributing to publications such as Yahoo, The New York Times T Magazine, Kippreport, and Gulf News, among others. Her current work delves into topics like transnational identity, belonging, feminism, and social justice. Eva is the founder of XBEVA, a pro-justice storytelling company that assists BIPOC changemakers in developing memoir-style art and writing. She has been living a nomadic lifestyle for the last five years, which has served as inspiration for her current project: a series of essays on Decolonizing Travel.
