Esti Ayu Budihabsari started her career in publishing in 2009, as a fiction editor at Mizan Publishing. Previously, she was active as a freelance translator and editor in various publications in Indonesia. During her editor career, Budihabsari has worked with writers such as Dan Brown, JK Rowling, Salim Said and Seno Gumira Ajidarma. She also participates in the publication of books with science themes for children, such as the How and Why series, which has been translated into German. Currently, Budihabsari is the editor-in-chief of Mizan Publishing and is responsible for fiction, non-fiction and teenage books.

Esti Ayu Budihabsari memulai karir di penerbitan sejak 2009, sebagai editor fiksi di Mizan Publishing. Sebelumnya, dia aktif sebagai penerjemah dan penyunting freelance di berbagai penerbitan di Indonesia. Selama karir editornya Esti memegang penulis-penulis seperti Dan Brown, JK Rowling, Salim Said, Seno Gumira Ajidarma, dan banyak lagi. Selain itu, Esti juga turut serta dalam penerbitan buku-buku Direct Selling bertema sains untuk anak, seperti seri How And Why, yang terjemahan Jerman. Saat ini Esti berperan sebagai editor in chief Mizan Publishing yang bertanggung jawab pada buku Fiksi, Non Fiksi, dan Remaja.
