Virginia Haussegger

Virginia Haussegger is an Australian award-winning TV journalist and gender equity advocate who leads powerful conversations with leading thinkers. She has reported around the world for primetime Australian news programs and was lead anchor of ABC TV News Canberra for 15 years. Virginia’s commentary has been widely published, including in the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and The Canberra Times. She is a Member of the Order of Australia and was named the 2019 ACT Australian of the Year. Virginia is Deputy Chair of the media think tank PIJI, the Public Interest Journalism Initiative. Her second book is Unfinished Revolution: The Feminist Fightback.
