Microfiction, sudden fiction, or flash fiction is exactly what it sounds like — fictional work of extreme brevity that can be read in a flash. In this flash fiction workshop, you will try a variety of approaches to compress a narrative, learn about its underlying structure and discuss what makes flash fiction powerful. The short, self-contained stories of flash fiction are a perfect way to get ideas down with no mess, and this workshop will help you generate new material in a fun and supportive learning environment! By exploring the concepts of flash fiction and how to write shorter, you will be able to write short, sharp pieces that still offer character and plot development.

Supported by Women Modern Bali
