Scraps of Hope in Banda Aceh (2020) examines the rebuilding of Banda Aceh, Indonesia, following the Helsinki-based peace process, 30 years of armed conflict, and the tsunami. A critical study of post-conflict politics, it explores notions of violence and grief, exiles and displacement, relationships, gender, and the relation of power and violence embedded in the peace.

Sebuah studi kritis politik pasca-konflik, mengeksplorasi pengertian kekerasan dan kesedihan, pengasingan dan perpindahan, hubungan, gender, dan hubungan kekuasaan dan kekerasan tertanam dalam perdamaian.
