Scraps of Hope in Banda Aceh (2020) examines the rebuilding of Banda Aceh, Indonesia, following the Helsinki-based peace process, 30 years of armed conflict, and the tsunami. A critical study of post-conflict politics, it explores notions of violence and grief, exiles and displacement, relationships, gender, and the relation of power and violence embedded in the peace.

Scraps of Hope in Banda Aceh (2020) mengulas tentang pembangunan kembali Banda Aceh, Indonesia, setelah proses perdamaian berbasis Helsinki, konflik bersenjata 30 tahun, dan tsunami. Sebuah studi kritis politik pasca-konflik, mengeksplorasi pengertian kekerasan dan kesedihan, pengasingan dan perpindahan, hubungan, gender, dan hubungan kekuasaan dan kekerasan tertanam dalam perdamaian.
