In Dragon: Penang Chronicles, Vol I, follow the story of Francis Light, a devious manipulator of the status quo. The author, Rose Gan, shares the journey of writing this adventure and having real historical figures from the courts of Siam and Kedah and from the East India Company as characters, including Sultan Muhammed Jiwa, King Tak Sin, and Warren Hastings.

Penulisnya, Rose Gan, membagikan perjalanan dari menulis petualangan ini dengan tokoh-tokoh sejarah yang nyata dari pengadilan Siam dan Kedah, serta East India Company sebagai karakter-karakternya, termasuk Sultan Muhammad Jiwa, Raja Tak Sin, dan Warren Hastings.
