The Children & Youth Program (CYP) and the In-school programs are workshop/seminar programs aimed specifically at school children. CYP is a program held in Ubud in the festival area, while in-school is a program held in each school by involving UWRF speakers.
Time: 3-4 Months Working with Indonesian and International Program Assistants
The tasks of the role are to:
Coordinate with Indonesian and International program teams to design CYP programs and in-school programs
Develop CYP program and in-school program
Coordinate with schools that are interested in participating in the in-school program/CYP
Coordinate with speakers
Prepare program logistics and coordinate with the production team
Ensure the program runs well during the Festival
Supervise the CYP volunteer team
Generate CYP minutes and headcount reports
Assist the program team in administration and speaker logistics if needed
Requirements:
Proficient in English (oral and written)
Can work in a team of various backgrounds
Have a basic knowledge of customer service and hospitality
Can work and maintain attitude under pressure
Responsive
SPECIAL EVENT COORDINATOR
A Special Event is an event in the form of a special dinner or lunch with selected speakers from UWRF. This event is held in collaboration with hotels and restaurants in Ubud.
Time: 3–4 months Working with International Program Managers and Festival Directors
The tasks of the role are to:
Assist the Program team/Festival Director to continue communication and follow up with the Special Event venue
Report sales of Special Event tickets to the venue regularly
Manage venue logistics needs; sound system, projector, X-banner, and more
Coordinate with the speakers involved in the Special Event
Prepare event rundown/MC if needed
Prepare program logistics and coordinate with the production team
Ensure the program runs well during the Festival
Supervise Special Event volunteer team
Make reports on each program’s minutes and headcount
Assist the program team in administration and speaker logistics if needed
Requirements:
Proficient in English (oral and written)
Can work in a team of various backgrounds
Have a basic knowledge of customer service and hospitality
Can work and maintain attitude under pressure
Responsive
Able to ride a motorbike
SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN
Time: 3–4 months (until October) Working with the Marketing and Communication Team
The tasks of the role are to:
Manage the content of UWRF social media accounts in accordance with the predetermined Social Media Planning
Create content with supervision from National Media Coordinator and MarComm Manager
Coordinate with Graphic Designer for visual social media needs
Explore creative ideas for content before and during the Festival
Activate festival account engagement before and during the Festival
Supervise social media volunteers
Compile monthly social media insight reports
Requirements:
Proficient in English (oral and written)
Have a particular interest in learning all things related to social media development
Copy-Writing in Bahasa Indonesia and English (preferred)
Able to work under pressure and with teams from various cultural backgrounds
Have creativity in developing content and visual ideas
Interested in new things
PARTNERSHIP INTERN
Time: 3–4 months (until October) Working with the Partnership and Sponsorship Team
The tasks of the role are to:
Help the Partnership team manage the administration of partners and festival sponsors
Assisting with database management and archiving administrative files of festival partners
Help the partnership team communicate with partners, especially those related to administrative completeness
Manage and ensure the logistics needs of each partner during the Festival
Assist the partnership team in preparing festival reports
Requirements:
Proficient in English (oral and written)
Customer service/hospitality skills
Able to work under pressure and with teams from various cultural backgrounds
Orderly in administration
Can work with google documents
Responsive
GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN
Time: 3–5 months Working with the Marketing & Communication Team
The tasks of the role are to:
Making designs for social media content
Assisting Festival’s Graphic Designers in designing promotional materials, both digital and print
Requirements:
Have a background in graphic design
Able to work using design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustration, and InDesign
Can work together in a team
Able to complete tasks on time and according to the given brief
