Nyoman Darma Putra is the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University. He holds a doctorate degree from the School of Languages and Comparative Cultural Studies the University of Queensland. His publications include A Literary Mirror, Balinese Reflections on Modernity and Identity in the Twentieth Century (KITLV/Brill, 2011) and Heterogenitas Sastra di Bali (2021), that received the award for the best literary criticism from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in 2021.
