Ni Wayan Giri Adnyani currently holds the position of Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. She successfully completed the GSTC Sustainable Tourism Auditor Course and received a ‘Competent’ assessment in the technical scope of GSTC Criteria for Destinations in September 2021. Additionally, she holds the designation of Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) from the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLEI). Giri earned her Master’s degree (M.Sc.) from Black Hills State University, South Dakota, and her Bachelor’s degree in Teacher Training (Dra.) from Udayana University. In addition to her role as Permanent Secretary, Giri Adnyani has also been appointed as the Chairman of ASEAN NTOs from 2022 to 2023, and since 2020, she has served as the Head of NTOs Indonesia.

Ni Wayan Giri Adnyani sedang memegang jabatan sebagai Sekretaris Tetap untuk Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif. Ia telah berhasil menyelesaikan kursus auditor Pariwisata Berkelanjutan dan menerima hasil asesmen ‘kompeten’ untuk cakupan teknis dalam kriteria untuk tujuan wisata dari GSTC pada tahun 2021. Selain itu, ia juga ditunjuk sebagai Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) dari American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLEI). Giri mendapatkan gelar Master (M.Sc.) dari Black Hills State University, South Dakota, dan gelar Sarjananya di bidang Pelatihan Guru (Dra.) dari Universitas Udayana. Melengkapi perannya sebagai Sekretaris Tetap, Giri Adnyani juga telah ditunjuk sebagai Kepala Organisasi Pariwisata Nasional (National Tourism Organisation; NTO) untuk ASEAN dari 2022 hingga 2023, dan sejak 2020, ia menjabat sebagai Kepala NTO Indonesia.
