Ubud Writers & Readers Festival Welcomes Official Ambassador

We’re excited to introduce Laksmi DeNeefe Suardana as the official Ambassador of Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati, the driving force behind the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival and the Ubud Food Festival.

Laksmi DeNeefe Suardana, known for her deep ties to both festivals, her passion for Indonesian literature, and as Puteri Indonesia 2022, is a perfect fit for the role of Ambassador. Her collaboration promises to be mutually beneficial. Leveraging her influence, she’ll expand the festivals’ reach, foster connections, and enhance visibility. Simultaneously, she’ll reinforce her advocacy for women, education, and literacy.

As Ambassador, Laksmi DeNeefe Suardana will illuminate the Festivals’ impact and raise awareness about literary and cultural exchange. The announcement took place at an event in Jakarta, accompanied by a dynamic social media campaign and an upcoming video featuring Laksmi.

An August gathering in Jakarta will celebrate her role and delve into festival details. Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati is thrilled about her involvement, expecting increased outreach, innovative fundraisers, and heightened enthusiast support.
