Clarice Gargard had always known her father as an idealist who fought for those less fortunate until she discovered he worked closely with Liberia’s dictator, Charles Taylor. In her book, Daughter of Dragons, she seeks to find out how her father could have supported a tyrant. She speaks to Debra Yatim and takes us on a tour of Liberia’s rich and tumultuous history.
