Follow the story of Siman, a mute obsessed with space travel, who builds a rocket from scraps in his backyard hoping to fly to the moon and escape his traumatic past. The dreamlike narrative of The Science of Fictions (2019) offers a critical counter-history of modern Indonesia while asking, what happens when fact and fiction blur?
