Inspired by Michael Pollan’s Cooked, Parti Gastronomi explore fermentation in Indonesia’s food culture. Traveling to eight cities in Indonesia – Medan, Padang, Palembang, Banjarmasin, Samarinda, Purwokerto, Semarang, and Manado – they delve into the mystical process that brings rot to delicacies, through their Delicious Rot Tour.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Parti Gastronomi and Jugglers Production Company.
Terinspirasi oleh Cooked milik Michael Pollan, Parti Gastronomi menjelajahi proses fermentasi dalam budaya makanan Indonesia. Mengunjungi delapan kota di Indonesia – Medan, Padang, Palembang, Banjarmasin, Samarinda, Purwokerto, Semarang, dan Manado – mereka menyelidiki proses mistis di balik fermentasi menjadi sebuah hidangan, melalui Wisata Makanan Fermentasi yang Lezat.
