Do you know the stories behind the food on your table? Before You Eat, written by Kasan Kurdi in 2022, highlights the struggles Indonesian crew members experience on foreign fishing vessels. From long working hours and inadequate food to physical violence and even death, this film shares the exploitation they experience from the time they board the ships to after they arrive back home.
