Her most recent book, Girls Are Coming Out of the Woods, a Poetry Book Society summer recommendation, is a powerful collection of poems, which deals with coastal living, gender violence, memory, happiness, ageing, and what the point of poetry might be. She lives in Tamil Nadu.
