Sidney Jones

Sidney Jones is Director of the Institute for Policy Analysis of Conflict, a non-governmental think tank in Jakarta. She has worked in Indonesia from 1977-1981 and from 2002-2018, and has previously worked at Ford Foundation, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and International Crisis Group. She is a recognized authority on violent extremism, insurgencies and ethnic conflict in Southeast Asia.
