Pitchaya Sudbanthad is the author of the novel Bangkok Wakes to Rain, published by Riverhead Books (US) and Sceptre (UK). He has received fellowships in fiction writing from the New York Foundation for the Arts and the MacDowell Colony, and currently splits time between Bangkok, Thailand and Brooklyn, USA. 

Pitchaya Sudbanthad adalah penulis novel Bangkok Wakes to Rain, diterbitkan oleh Riverhead Books (AS) dan Sceptre (Inggris). Ia telah menerima berbagai beasiswa dalam penulisan fiksi dari New York Foundation bidang kesenian dan MacDowell Colony, dan saat ini membagi waktunya antara Bangkok, Thailand dan Brooklyn, Amerika Serikat.
