Michael Vatikiotis is a writer and journalist based in Singapore. After training as a journalist with the BBC in London, he moved to Asia and was a correspondent and then editor of the Far Eastern Economic Review. He has written two novels set in Indonesia. His latest book is Blood and Silk: Power and Conflict in Modern Southeast Asia.

Michael Vatikiotis adalah seorang Penulis dan Jurnalis yang tinggal di Singapura. Setelah mengikuti masa pelatihan sebagai jurnalis BBC di London, Ia kemudian pindah ke Asia dan menjadi seorang Koresponden dan Editor di Far Eastern Economic Review. Michael telah menulis dua novel yang dilatarbelakangi negara Indonesia. Buku terbarunya adalah berjudul Blood and Silk: Power and Conflict in Modern Southeast Asia.
