Louise Doughty

Louise Doughty is the author of ten novels, including the bestseller Apple Tree Yard, which was adapted for BBC television. Louise is a highly experienced tutor of creative writing who has given lectures and workshops all over the world, including the Faber Academy, the UEA-Guardian Masterclass, and the Arvon Foundation. She is a mentor for the Gold Dust Mentorship Scheme, as well as teaching online masterclasses for the Arvon and The Novelry. Louise's approach is to break down the trickiest parts of writing technique into bite-sized chunks and show new authors there is no writing problem that cannot be overcome.
