Lala Bohang, born in Makassar and a graduate of Parahyangan University’s School of Architecture, is a talented visual artist and writer. Since 2009, she has participated in various group exhibitions in Indonesia and abroad, showcasing her exceptional talent. In 2016, Lala captivated readers with her bestselling trilogy: The Book of Forbidden Feelings (2016), The Book of Invisible Questions (2017), and The Book of Imaginary Beliefs (2019). Her collaborative work, The Journey of Belonging (2020), co-authored with Lara Nuberg, won the prestigious 2020 International Ronald McDonald Award. Lala’s newest book, In the Middle of Everything (2023), is accompanied by a captivating solo exhibition with the same theme.

Lala Bohang lahir di Makassar dan merupakan lulusan jurusan Arsitektur Universitas Parahyangan yang bekerja sebagai perupa dan penulis. Sejak tahun 2009 ia telah berpartisipasi pada beberapa pameran kelompok di dalam dan luar negeri. Tahun 2016 Lala mulai mempublikasikan buku trilogi best-seller berjudul The Book of Forbidden Feelings (2016), The Book of Invisible Questions (2017),dan The Book of Imaginary Beliefs (2019). Ia mendapatkan International Ronald McDonald Award 2020 untuk buku The Journey of Belonging (2020) yang ditulis bersama Lara Nuberg. In The Middle of Everything (2023) adalah karya bukunya yang terbaru dan pameran tunggal dengan tajuk yang sama.
