Clarissa Goenawan is an Indonesian-born Singaporean writer. Her debut novel, Rainbirds, was the winner of the prestigious Bath Novel Award for unpublished and self-published novelists. Her short stories have received several awards and been published in various literary magazines and anthologies in Singapore, Australia, the UK, and the US, such Esquire, Monsoon Book, Writing the City, and many others.
