An award-winning novelist based in Vienna, Anna Weidenholzer’s current fiction explores the continued fraying of our social fabric. In 2013 her book Der Winter tut den Fischen gut (Winter is Good for Fish) was nominated for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize, while her latest, Weshalb die Herren Seesterne tragen (Why the Gentlemen Are Wearing Starfish), was nominated for the German Book Prize in 2016.
