Aleko Shugladze

Aleko Shugladze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 1965. From 1989 to 1993 he worked for the Georgian Film Studio, and from 1994 to 1997 he was an artist at the Performance Theatre. Aleko began writing in 1989 and in 2017 won the Saba Literary Prize for Best Novel of the Year.
