Abdul Samad Haidari

Abdul Samad Haidari is a 28-year-old refugee from Afghanistan, where his Hazara tribe faces genocide. He authored the poetry book The Red Ribbon and has been a journalist, humanitarian aid worker, teacher of women refugees, and interpreter. He fled because of his journalism, race and religious beliefs. Abdul is also a member of Jakarta Foreign Correspondents Club.

Abdul Samad Haidari adalah seorang pengungsi berusia 28 tahun dari Afghanistan, di mana sukunya Hazara menghadapi genosida. Ia menulis buku puisi The Red Ribbon dan telah menjadi jurnalis, pekerja bantuan kemanusiaan, guru untuk pengungsi wanita, dan penerjemah. Ia melarikan diri karena jurnalisme, ras, dan kepercayaan agamanya. Abdul juga anggota Klub Koresponden Asing Jakarta.
