Omid Tofighian is Assistant Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and Adjunct Lecturer in the School of the Arts and Media at the University of New South Wales, Australia. He wrote Myth and Philosophy in Platonic Dialogues and translated Behrouz Boochani’s multi-award winning No Friend but the Mountains: Writing From Manus Prison.
