4-Day Pass

The 4-Day Pass gets you access to our entire Main Program (see description below).

1-Day Pass

The 1-Day Pass gets you access to one day of our Main Program (see description below) – choose the day you prefer.

Individual events

Tickets for special events, workshops or tours must be purchased separately (see description below).

Main Program

The Main Program spans 27–30 October 2016. This is the heart of the festival – 4 days of programming including panel discussions, talks, and conversations sessions, at our four main venues: NEKA, Indus Restaurant, Taman Baca, and Joglo @ Taman Baca.

The sessions generally start at 9:00am and run until 5:00pm each day, with 15 minute breaks between each.

Get access to all 80+ sessions with a 4-Day Pass, or choose the day that suits you best with a 1-Day Pass.

Special Events

Special Events include literary lunches, dinners, and cocktail soirees with your favourite authors, and are held in venues across Ubud.

Tickets must be purchased to these events.

Workshops

Whether you want to improve your prose or skill-up in self-publishing, our Workshops – featuring the brightest from the UWRF Program – are for you.

Cultural Workshops

Offering an immersive experience of Balinese culture, the Cultural Workshops span cooking workshops, art classes and more.

The Kitchen

Step into The Kitchen to witness fiery cooking demonstrations and foodie tales, led by our local and international authors, and chefs.

LIVE MUSIC & ART 

Each evening the Festival will offer a range of arts, dance and music performances that light up the night.

FESTIVAL CLUB @ BAR LUNA

The Festival Club kicks off after dark, with a range of great events and Festival favourites.

CHILDREN & YOUTH PROGRAM

There’s something for everyone – from the littlest wannabe author, to teens wanting to try their hands at skills from illustration to film-making.

FILM PROGRAM

Settle in for some great films by Festival artists, and meet the people behind them.

BOOK LAUNCHES

Get along to our Book Launch series to hear the authors read from their new releases, and find the next thing to add to your reading pile!
