Sung-Il Kim

Sung-il Kim is a South Korean writer of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. His works include Blood of the Old Kings, the first book of a fantasy trilogy about imperialism and Wolf Hunt, a science fiction novel about relationships and the sense of self. Blood of the Old Kings is being translated to English with a release date in 2024. Despite having a lifelong desire to write fiction, he only started writing in his forties. He has a unique ability to masterfully combine aspects of science-fiction, horror and fantasy.

Sung-il Kim adalah seorang penulis fiksi ilmiah, fantasi dan horor Korea Selatan. Karya-karyanya mencakup Blood of the Old Kings, buku pertama dalam sebuah trilogi fantasi mengenai imperialisme, dan Wolf Hunt, sebuah novel fiksi ilmiah perihal hubungan antarmanusia dan konsep diri seseorang. Blood of the Old Kings sedang diterjemahkan ke bahasa Inggris dan siap diluncurkan pada 2024. Meskipun seumur hidupnya ia selalu ingin menulis fiksi, ia baru mulai menulis saat ia telah memasuki usia 40an.
