Helena Gualinga is an Ecuadorian Indigenous advocate for climate justice and human rights, dedicated to championing the protection of the Amazon Rainforest and the rights of Indigenous people. Hailing from the Kichwa community of Sarayaku, she comes from a community that has steadfastly opposed the big oil industry for decades. Helena is a valued member of the Indigenous Youth Collective of Amazon Defenders in Ecuador. She has actively participated in several conferences, including COP 27 and UN summits, as well as the World Economic Forum. Most notably, she was recently honored with the DVF Leadership Award.

Helena Gualinga adalah seorang pejuang hak-hak masyarakat adat atas keadilan iklim dan hak asasi manusia, yang menggalakkan perlindungan Hutan Hujan Amazon dan hak-hak masyarakat adat.
