Bar Luna at Casa Luna

Mark Heyward’s memoir, Glass Islands, is described as “a heartfelt love-song to the place he has made his home, and to his own Indonesian family.” The book narrates Heyward’s life in Lombok, covering aspects such as building a home, raising a family, encountering riots and battles, encountering mythical princesses, embarking on magical voyages, and experiencing moments of birth, death, love, and loss. Originally from Tasmania, Australia, Heyward discusses his latest book with Norman Ince.
