Laut Bercerita (The Sea Speaks His Name) is about the loss felt by families and friends of the ‘disappeareds’, whose chests feel empty with the search for answers. It’s a story of activists who were kidnapped and never came back, and of betrayal and torture by those for whom power is more valuable than lives.
