Since 2003, Slinat (short for “silly in art”) has captured various local social issues through his highly distinctive art. One of his most iconic images is a Balinese girl whose face is obscured by a gas mask. When we view old images of Bali we romanticize its beauty. But when we look now, all is different.
Exhibition runs from 19 October–19 November, with the launch at 19:00 on 19 October.
