When can I download a Press Pack?
The programme for the 2009 is available here. Download the 2009 Press Pack [here].
The Media Office will be situated in the heart of the Ubud Writers Festival at Anahera and provides quiet space for interviews, radio and TV recording, a separate working space for photographers, unlimited coffee, daily newspapers and good company all day. We have fast wireless broadband but do not provide computers – please bring your own laptop.
All journalists, photographers and broadcasters must pre-register to qualify for media accreditation which is open. Download form [here]
How do I get tickets to special events?
Please note we do not hold media tickets for workshops. A limited number of press seats are available for accredited media at all the special events, but these must be requested by email to media@ubudwritersfestival.com before the end of 2nd October. These media tickets can be collected from the Media Office in Anahera at the time of registration or on the day of the event.
How do I get photographs of events?
We will have a library of high resolution Festival images uploaded every evening at the Media office – available to accredited media. A limited selection of high resolution images is available for download from the website under Download.
A series of media conferences with authors have been planned during the Festival and the schedule will emailed to the accredited media and also be available at the media office.
How do I arrange interviews with authors and participants?
All requests to interview authors, participants and staff at the 2009 UWRF should be directed through the media office in advance. Please contact use the form at Media Interview Request and we will do everything we can to facilitate your request.
This may be possible for some events, with the permission of the participants. Please contact media@ubudwritersfestival.com well in advance of the Festival and we will do everything we can to facilitate your request.
Selected audio recordings of panel discussions and special events will be made available at the media office as MP3 files to accredited media only.
If you would like film footage of the Festival, we have produced an Electronic Press Kit, available to help you more easily present UWRF in broadcast and other media coverage. Please see the videos below which give a flavour of what footage is available [here].
If you would like us to send you a copy of the Electronic Press Kit on DVD or would like more information please contact media@ubudwritersfestival.com
Our grateful thanks go to all the artists and companies who helped to make this project possible.
