6 reasons you should buy an Early Bird ticket to Ubud Writers & Readers Festival: Part 4

In 2018, the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival celebrates its 15th year as Southeast Asia’s leading festival of words and ideas, so naturally there’ll be a flurry of special festivities to mark the milestone. The celebrations start with the Early Bird tickets, which fly on Monday 16 July, alongside the first announcement of Indonesian and international speakers appearing at this year’s Festival. In this weekly blog series, we’ll share six reasons we think you should be part of the action by purchasing an Early Bird 4-Day Festival Pass.

Reason 4: In 2017, 98% of our surveyed audience members said they’d be returning for UWRF18

We think 98% is a pretty good result, and we’re hoping that the 98% will be snapping up an Early Bird 4-Day Pass to take advantage of the 20% saving! Earlier this year, we ran a social media series highlighting the reasons why almost all our surveyed audience members said they’d be joining us again this year. Here are eight of our favorites:

What did you love most about UWRF17? “The variety of authors was amazing. I loved listening to such well spoken, educated and informed speakers. A number of the moderators were also excellent. I found that the one-on-one discussions were by far the best, the panels always left me wanting more. So many interesting topics were raised but there was never enough time to explore each further.
